Chocolate Covered Brittles and Peppermint Bark
Before The Naked Cookie became The Naked Cookie, we were a Los Angeles based business specializing in Chocolate Covered Nut Brittles and desserts operating under the wonderful name of Honeysuckle Candies & Desserts. The business was put on hold in 2005, and when we reopened in November 2009, we renamed ourselves The Naked Cookie. We still make the most delicious Chocolate Covered Nut Brittles in the world, using the creamiest butter, the purest vanilla extract, the sweetest clover honey and E. Guittard’s excellent and exciting chocolate, which is harvested in a fully sustainable manner through working with individual farmers all over the world. Plump and juicy roasted whole nuts have been blended with delicate and delicious buttery toffee and blanketed in the most decadent, silky smooth 65% dark chocolate and dusted with chopped roasted nuts. YUM!
We have added a new candy to our catalogue of yumminess, which enables our nut-free customers to enjoy the most delicious brittle in the world. The candy is Chocolate Covered Pretzel Brittle and the candy sold out (over 50 pounds!) in its debut weekend at the 2010 Atlantic City Food & Wine Expo. It is already a customer favorite! Finally, The Naked Cookie makes the most delicious Peppermint Bark which is only available from November-February. It has been compared by many of our customers to Williams Sonoma's Peppermint Bark, and our ALWAYS comes out on top! You may be wondering why our Peppermint Bark is so delicious. It has everything to do with our ingredients...the most decadent white and dark chocolate blended with the finest peppermint extracts and heavily dusted with the best hand crushed candy canes. The candy is hand-cut, giving it a real homemade feel.
